Craig Clapper is Founder and Chief Science & Knowledge Officer for RELIABILITY 4Life, a unique, high-touch High Reliability consulting group that delivers real High Reliability safety science and life-giving results to their clients. With 35+ years’ experience improving reliability in power, transportation, manufacturing, and healthcare, Craig is an expert at unlocking human potential to create safety systems and truly generative safety cultures for safer, healthier ecosystems in their workplaces and in their everyday lives. 

A healthcare thought leader, innovator, and change agent for 25 years. Craig specializes in failure analysis, event analysis, reliability improvement, and safety culture improvement. Craig has led safety culture transformation engagements for Duke Energy, US Department of Energy, ABB, Westinghouse, Framatome ANP, Sentara Healthcare, Sharp Healthcare, and others. Prior to RELIABILITY 4Life, Craig was the Chief Knowledge Officer of Healthcare Performance Improvement (HPI), the Chief Operating Officer of HPI, the Chief Operating Officer of Performance Improvement International, Vice President of Failure Prevention Inc (FPI), systems engineering manager for Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station, and systems engineering manager for Palo Verde Nuclear Generation Station.
