Founded in 2021 by Tamra (Tami) Strong and Craig Clapper, Reliability 4 Life (R4L) brings together over 60 years of combined expertise in improving safety, quality, and system performance. Though we're a newer group, our deep experience ensures that we provide top-notch solutions.

Meet Craig Clapper

Craig is a systems engineer and certified reliability engineer. His journey began as a nuclear power engineer, working alongside Dr. Chong Chui at Performance Improvement International (PII). Through years of dedication, Craig helped develop groundbreaking solutions to tackle equipment failures and human error in the nuclear power industry, laying the foundation for the concept of High-Reliability Organizations (HROs). His passion for creating safe, reliable systems is at the heart of everything we do at R4L.

Meet Tami Strong

Tami’s career started in the automotive manufacturing industry, where she quickly demonstrated her leadership and innovative spirit. She revolutionized internal just-in-time (JIT) inventory systems, significantly improving efficiency and shaping the approach and thinking of industry suppliers and leaders. Tami's journey eventually led her to nursing, where she applied her expertise in quality management to healthcare, driven by a desire to provide safety, efficient, compassionate care. Her unique perspective as a former ICU nurse highlights the importance of supporting those who save lives.
